Bourbon Barrel-Aged Coffee
Ember Coffee proudly presents our Bourbon Barrel Aged Coffee, a collaboration with our favorite brewery, Lupulin Brewing, also right here in Big Lake, Minnesota.
This same batch of beans was used in Lupulin's "BA Cinnamon Coffee Shop Assault Vehicle", available for a limited time in their taproom. The coffee and beer label both feature a cat with a collar that reads "BP", for the Facebook group Beer People, whose mascot is a grey cat named Cookie.
Coined "Cookie's Blend," this is a medium-roast that encapsulates the essence of Kentucky's finest bourbon tradition. Our 100% Arabica beans are meticulously air-roasted and aged inside authentic bourbon barrels, once cradling that sweet Kentucky libation.
Our artisan process ensures each batch receives the optimal roast and aging time, yielding a coffee experience like no other. Savor the perfect combination of charred oak, chocolate and rich caramel notes, all harmoniously intertwined with the taste of bourbon—but without a hint of alcohol.
We recommend Cookie's Blend for a few brewing methods: the classic V60 pour over, an indulgent espresso, or inside of desserts or cocktails, which can add a unique twist to pound cakes and martinis.
